Book lovers, rejoice: it’s the year you’ll be able to pick your favorite books.

The publishers of the best-selling and most influential books of the year have revealed the list of books that have been included.

The list will be unveiled on May 20. 

Book lovers will be able choose from the books that were voted by the fans on Facebook, Twitter and other social media.

The books on the list include “The Art of War,” by American author Michael Crichton, and “The Power of Habit,” by British author Anne-Marie Slaughter. 

The list is a collaboration between the publishers, Amazon and the Best New Books (BNB) project, which seeks to “make the best reading experiences for readers across all age groups and cultures.” 

“The Art Of War” was the top-selling book of the 2020-21 academic year.

“The Right Stuff” was second, followed by “Lone Survivor” and “Culture Shock.”

The books in third place were “The Best of the Rest” and “Nanak” by US author Daniel Handler. 

Readers can vote online, via a QR code on the top of the book’s cover or on Amazon.com, or via the Kindle app, Apple’s iBookstore or the Google Play store. 

Amazon’s Kindle app was the biggest winner, with 9.8 percent of the vote, followed closely by Amazon.com and the Googleplay app, with 8.9 percent each. 

Publishers have not revealed who won each book. 

“We’re really excited to be part of this project and we’re delighted to be representing the world’s best book lovers in celebrating the best of the rest,” Amazon’s CEO Jeff Bezos said in a statement. 

He added that “The best books” list will help readers find the books they want to read, rather than “listening to an endless barrage of other people’s best books.”
